POET Biorefining – Alexandria is an 80-million-gallon ethanol production facility built and fully commissioned in 2008. The facility provides a market for over 26 million bushels of locally growncorn. Attendees will participate in a walking tour of the facility and learn about the infrastructure and process components related to inbound grain handling, hammermilling, liquefaction, fermentation, distillation and fuel ethanol and distillers grains load-out.

Additional tour registration is required to attend, and seating is limited.
You must be a full-conference attendee to register for the tour.

Tour Schedule

8:15 am - 8:30 am	Load Buses and Depart
8:30 am - 9:45 am	Travel to Alexandria
9:45 am - 11:15 am	Tour POET Biorefining - Alexandria
11:15 am – 1:00 pm	Load Buses. Return to Indianapolis
1:00 pm	Disembark in Indianapolis
